Super Reading FC, were by far the greatest team the world has ever seen....

we'll not always, but unless your an Arsenal or Man U fan, the life of the true Football fan is most definately up and down (mainly down- but yo can always live in hope!)

I've been a fan and regular at Elm Park and now the Mad stad since 1978, Barbara not long after me as it happens, and it was largely due to us bumping into each other on the west end at Elm park that we got together on a serious basis!

We've travelled all over the UK following the team in the past although these days an away game is a rare event- football is not cheap any more!

In my life as a Reading fan I've seen the team go from the old 4th Division to a Premiership/top Championship outfit, which is somthing we could only have dreamed about all those years ago, and now we have introduced out son to the millstone that is the life of the Reading fan.

Best and worst Reading Moments...

Best home performance. Up untill the premiership, I would have said all the best moments were at Elm park, but just to see the likes of Man U, Chelski and Arsenal at the Mad Stad was verging on a religous experience, and as for seeing our lads running onto the pitch at Old Trafford, well I near wet myself!

At Elm Park-,Archie in the 92'nd min',or was it Jimmy Quinn's goal against Wolves on the volley, or was it when we scored against Wolves in the cup in 1978 and I knocked Richards Mans glasses on the pitch when we jumped up!

Best away performance Tranmere, play off away leg, mind you that game against Man U was pretty good!.

Worst moment, That Bolton goal.

See you in Y21 Row A!
